ABOUT DURATUBE:
DURATUBE is manufactured by The J D Russell Company in Farmersville, Texas. Each piece of DURATUBE is made of steel and is configured with a factory formed, integral 3/4" diameter tube or circle along one edge (the top) of every piece. DURATUBE's spherical or tubular edge provides the strength necessary to ensure that each 8' x 4" piece remains straight and rigid throughout the manufacturing process, the warehousing and shipping cycles and, if the installer elects, on into the project. DURATUBE achieves this patented utility by incorporating a series of cuts and punches, called BENDER SLOTS, along each side of the tube. These slots cause design points of weakness which react to moderate pressure thereby allowing the installer to bend, shape and create almost any desired curvatures. Importantly, DURATUBE is very forgiving. Change your mind and DURATUBE allows you to shape it into a different configuration, even back to straight!

The flexibility of  DURATUBE is so great you may use a single piece to create a 30" circle or tree ring. AND, without distortion or loss of paint.

Each piece of DURATUBE  is 8' x 4" in length and is treated with POWDER COAT, electostatically applied paint for a tough and lasting finish. GREEN, BLACK and BROWN colors are offered as well as galvanized and plain steel finishes.

DURATUBE employs a staking system which is simple and accommodates a variety of on-site conditions. Each length (8' x 4") of DURATUBE contains 10 stake slots (holes) allowing the installer to choose which of them is the most advantageous for  the prevailing site conditions. Each stake is U-shaped and installed into the slots from above after DURATUBE  is set in place.  Four stakes are provided per length.

Six (6) pieces of DURATUBE are encapsulated in shrink plastic containing 50 LINEAL FEET of product along with the necessary stakes (24) and plastic connectors (6) to complete the installation. Installation instructions are included in every six pack. The package is weather proof and provides retailers with an ideal point-of-sale kit. Every six pack is labeled and contains our manufacturer's UPC sticker. DURATUBE is packaged is packaged for shipments into FULL PALLETS containing 1,000 lineal feet (20 six packs).
