With conventional form clips, once the concrete enters the form, pressure is applied outwardly, locking the form clips in place. Removal of the clips requires a claw hammer or pry bar to be inserted between the clip and the wood form. The removal process causes gouging and chipping over time, shortening the life span of expensive form boards as well as increasing the amount of time it takes to strip the forms. Apply upward pressure with a hammer claw, pry bar, or screw driver to manipulate and create movement to more easily break the bond.
