Reflex Rubber Concrete Expansion Joint
Reflex Expansion Joint is a high-performance rubber concrete expansion joint material engineered to provide long-lasting flexibility, durability, and joint protection in concrete slab applications. Manufactured from recycled rubber and plastic materials, Reflex is designed to outperform traditional fiberboard and asphalt-based expansion joints by resisting deterioration, moisture absorption, crushing, and breakdown over time.
Unlike fiber expansion joint products that can rot, split, or compress permanently, Reflex maintains excellent recovery characteristics while allowing concrete slabs to properly expand and contract. Its flexible composition helps reduce cracking and joint failure in commercial, industrial, roadway, and residential concrete applications.
Reflex installs quickly during the concrete pour and can be easily secured against wood forms by hand or with nails, making installation simple and efficient for contractors. The material will not absorb water and does not require sealing after installation, reducing long-term maintenance concerns.

Conventional expansion joint products can break down in hot or cold weather and compress during expansion. Some brands of expansion joint need to be stored flat in order to for it not to break and be stored away from heat to keep it from getting soft and sticky. Un-like Reflex®, other expansion joint products require sealing to avoid leaching water.
REFLEX®, is easy to cut. It’s easy to store requiring no special stacking. Some brands of expansion joint must be stored flat to avoid distortion and breakage. Reflex also doesn’t require protection from the elements. Store it wherever you need to and it will be ready to install regardless of temperature or wetness. Sealing after installation is also not a requirement with Reflex although it can be done if a sealed look is desired.

Reflex Color Rubber Expansion Joint
REFLEX® is breaking new ground
in the concrete industry by providing, for the first time, a colored edge that is ultraviolet stable on one edge with the opposing edge formed of natural black rubber color. Colored edge
REFLEX is also made up of components identical to core REFLEX with the addition of a proprietary colorant used in forming a co-extruded covering along one of the opposing edges and extending down 3/4” down each side.
