REFLEX® rubber expansion joint is a joint filler used to prevent damage during expansion and contraction of concrete. This product is weather-resistant and meets the requirements of ASTM D 1751. It can be used in driveways, sidewalks, and patios. It is typically used in between concrete slabs and to separate slabs from structures.
It is made from 100% recycled rubber and plastic. The majority of the rubber comes from old tires that you see littering the shoulders of highways and overflowing landfills. When using REFLEX® in the construction of just one single family residence, builders are able to consume the equivalent of 8.3 passenger car tires. So when planning your next project, “Go Green” and choose REFLEX®.
Due to the proven durability of REFLEX®, its use has been pre-approved by most U.S. States and even Canada for the new construction of roadways.
